Mountain Bike Olympic Development Programme athletes selected

British Cycling has selected eight athletes to join the mountain bike Olympic Development Programme (ODP).

Traditionally selected in November each year, there was no selection for the mountain bike ODP made in 2012, as a period of review, restructuring and recruitment of staff for the Programme, following the first Olympic cycle for the Programme, was in progress.

Since, British Cycling has recruited a dedicated Olympic Development Programme coach, after which a selection camp was held in February 2013.

A squad of eight athletes were selected to receive the assistance of the ODP until November 2013 when applications will be accepted again.
