Five Quick Questions with Andrew Gillott.

When did you start riding?

AG: About 12 years ago after years in the wilderness. The wilderness was sandwiched between competing as a judo player and winning a mountain bike.

What motivates you?

AG: I am really passionate about young people enjoying great coaching and realising their potential.

What in your opinion is the highlight of your career so far?

AG: As a rider, being faster at 41 than at 31. As a Coach Developer, working with mountain bike coaches in Nepal to develop their coaching systems.

Hero?

AG: That's kind of you to say, but really I'm just a normal guy like you.

What advice would you give to a young rider?

AG: Slowly, slowly, catchy monkey; enjoy your riding, work hard and be consistent.
