British Cycling’s M-Check is a quick, intuitive and easy to remember routine for ensuring that your bike is in good working order and is safe before every ride. This video will show you how to check the condition of the frame and inspect for any dents or cracks.

If you identify a problem during the check that you are unable to repair yourself, your bike should be taken to the local bike shop to be fixed.
