Go-Ride Holiday Coaching Programme in Manchester

Share |

Published: 2 August

Go-Ride Holiday Coaching Programmes are part of British Cycling’s Go-Ride development programme for young people. They provide a fun and safe way to introduce young riders to the world of cycle sport and provide a platform to improve bike handling skills. They also provide an extra opportunity for current Go-Ride club riders to build on the skills they have been learning at their weekly club sessions.

This August, North West Go-Ride Coaches, Tom Hodgkinson and Joe Malik, will be running a number of Go-Ride Holiday Coaching Programme sessions, based at the Manchester Velodrome. They’re aimed at all Go-Ride club riders who have some experience of riding the track, but are looking to build on their confidence and track riding skills. There are a limited number of 20 places per session and the price includes bike and helmet hire.

Book online using the web links below or contact Tom for more information: tomhodgkinson@britishcycling.org.uk or 07953 428 1259.

*If you are racing Tameside on the 12 August you can race and turn up late to the session. Please do not put a coaching session in front of what will be a great bike race at the circuit, celebrating the Olympics and its legacy!

There is also another great opportunity to get some additional track time on Sunday 11 August at Manchester Velodrome. The Lancashire track cluster is inviting riders to come along to their session; there is no requirement to have a club coach present. Please click here for more information:
