The dedication and commitment of volunteers within Go-Ride Clubs will be celebrated at British Cycling’s Go-Ride Conferences in February and March 2015, with the Go-Ride Awards. Here’s your opportunity to thank the people who have made a huge contribution to your club, by nominating them for an award.
Cycling clubs could not function at grassroots level without the time and effort of many volunteers in all aspects of the sport.
This is your chance to nominate a Go-Ride Club or volunteer who you believe has made an outstanding contribution to cycling – whether that’s the coach whose expertise have been invaluable in developing young riders, the club volunteer who has gone beyond expectations to make club sessions enjoyable for all, or the secretary who has committed countless hours to keeping the club running smoothly.
The awards will recognise the efforts of volunteers across a number of categories:
- Coach of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Special Recognition Award
- Go-Ride Club of the Year
