At British Cycling, we are passionate about riding bikes. We want to spread this passion throughout the country and get as many people involved in cycling as possible. As our membership grows, so does our ability to represent you as cycling’s National Governing Body. With more members, we can do more to support all cyclists.
As well as a place on the same team as Sir Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish and Laura Trott, British Cycling membership provides a range of benefits, including insurance, priority access to cycling event tickets, top tips and advice from British Cycling experts and discounts on kit.
A benefit of your club’s affiliation is that club members can get up to £15 off membership when they join British Cycling for the first time, using the codes outlined below.
Under 16 members
Under 16 members are entitled to free membership - if you join a local Go-Ride club, Silver membership to British Cycling is free for the first year, so there really is no excuse for missing out on being a member!
There’s also a special bonus pack for all under 16s, which is our way of saying thank you for signing up. Inside the young people's membership pack, you’ll find awesome stickers and rider postcards, as well as two huge double-sided posters of some of the biggest cycling stars from the worlds of track, mountainand road.
