British Cycling Olympic Podium Programme rider Shanaze Reade will head up the 10-rider squad that will head to Caen in France on the weekend of 23-24 February for an indoor international event.

Reade will be the only Podium programme rider in attendance, with Liam Phillips still in recovery following injuries sustained back in December 2012 at St. Etienne-Loire, when the Olympian dislocated four fingers in a start ramp collision with Frenchman Joris Daudet.

Tre White is also sidelined while he recovers from recent injury, with both he and Phillips set to make their return to competition at the Manchester round of the National Indoor Series on 23-24 March.

Five Olympic Academy riders, Abbie Taylor, Kyle Evans, Grant Hill, Curtis Manaton and Dan McBride will compete at Caen, Evans now fully recovered from the scaphoid injury sustained at St. Etienne-Loire.

Olympic Development Programme riders Charlotte Green, Quillan Isidor, Dan Pullen and Ryan Stack will round out the ten rider team, British Cycling BMX head coach Grant White confirmed.
