British Cycling has named a 14-strong Great Britain Cycling Team for the Dudenhofen Grand Prix in Germany from 1-2 September with three Olympic gold medallists set for action.

Callum Skinner, Phil Hindes and Katie Archibald are selected and are joined by Olympic bronze medallist Katy Marchant.

Also travelling are current European under-23 team sprint champions, Jack Carlin, Ryan Owens and Joe Truman, while Sophie Capewell will race alongside Marchant in the women’s sprint events.

Joining 2017 omnium world champion Katie Archibald, in the women’s endurance events will be Emily Kay, Ellie Dickinson and Megan Barker, with Joe Holt, Matt Bostock and Matt Walls competing in the men’s endurance.

Great Britain Cycling Team’s performance director Stephen Park said: “The Dudenhofen GP will be a great opportunity for the riders to get some racing under their belts as we continue to build towards the beginning of the Track World Cup series.

“For our more experienced riders it’s a chance for them to see where their form is at and look at what we might need to work on while it will be a great chance for some of the young riders to put a marker down and show us what they are capable of.”
