Two riders from the Great Britain Cycling Team have swapped the track for the road to take us on a whistle-stop tour of one of their favourite rides, along with British Cycling’s official partner Fiat.

Philip Hindes and Elinor Barker regularly drive out to the countryside to enjoy road rides in amazing landscapes. Philip’s perfect ride starts in Whaley Bridge, Derbyshire, and is a 65km loop. Elinor’s ride starts in Leek, Staffordshire and is a 60km loop.

Elinor said: “I live in quite central Manchester, so it’s nice to drive out and not feel like you’re in the city anymore, which is really nice and there’s some really scenic points along the route that I love. The route for my perfect ride is quite hilly, but I think it’s worth it when you get to the top.”
