British Cycling has today confirmed the six riders who will represent Great Britain at the forthcoming Tour of Britain, taking place from 7-14 September 2014.

Dan McLay, who recently won stage three of the prestigious Tour de l’Avenir, has made selection as has Tao Geoghegan Hart who finished 10th overall at the same race. Germain Burton, Chris Lawless, Chris Latham and Dan Pearson make up the young squad who will be competing for Great Britain.

Team manager Keith Lambert said: “The Tour of Britain always attracts the world’s greatest riders and is a fantastic event for the Great Britain team to be involved with. Last year, we managed a stage win for Simon Yates which was a great achievement and I’m looking forward to seeing what the team can do at this year’s Tour of Britain.”
