Event Overview

Welcome to 2nd edition of the CHARIOTS OF FIRE CHARITY SPORTIVE, a ride all within Cambridgeshire.


3 routes await riders of all abilities 100m, 100kms and 36miles, passing as many military establishments as possible in Cambridgeshire.


The Start and Finish will again be at Marshalls, by their car franchise complex opposite the Airport (CB5 8RX).


There is free car parking at the Start plus additional spaces at the Park and Ride less than ½ mile away.


Entry fees are £25 for 100m and 100kms and £15 for the 36mile ideal come and try option.


Team entries are available for 4 or more riders go to info@wheelsinwheels.com for more info.


On line Entries close Wednesday 18th September but we will guarantee on the day rides at £5 extra.


All proceeds go to the SSAFA Cambridgeshire the official Forces Charity.


Both the longer rides will have feeds to help keep up reserves, 2 on the long and 1 on the 36 mile route, and each rider will be timed and receive a snack and certificate on their return to Cambridge.


Full mechanical support will be on hand plus a broom wagon if all else fails.


Registration opens at 07.45 with the first riders away at 08.30 and the mini ride starting at 09.30.


Last year saw over 100 riders take to the route so let’s see if we can top the 200 for 2013.

All proceeds go to the SSAFA Cambridgeshire the official Forces Charity. Both the longer rides will have feeds to help keep up reserves, 2 on the long and 1 on the 36 mile route, and each rider will be timed and receive a snack and certificate on their return to Cambridge.
