Registered Sportive

Event Summary

Event Overview

Wheels in Wheels Events are pleased to announce that with exceptional support from local cycle club Slapton CC the 2013 version of this very popular sportive will go ahead.

Slapton is a village on the route not far from the original start and with support from their local Equestrian Centre who will host the Start and Finish along with extensive free car parking all on the same site. The local Pub is also chipping in with a after ride snack for all the long ride entrants.

The same format as previous will continue with a long route taking in all the famous Chiltern climbs and some more all around the Vale of Aylesbury.

The shorter ride takes in some of the same climbs and continues to be based on a 2 lap basis to enable beginners to come and try a sportive for the first time with 3 distances to ride.

There will be 2 feeds along the long ride and 1 feed for the shorter route.

Both rides will be timed and certificates available after the ride.

Further details and timings will be available later in May
