About the Event

Info for Riders

Starting at the Poynton Leisure Centre the riders will set off on a 85 mile route through the Peak District taking in the climbs of Chunal, Holmes Moss, Gamesly before heading back towards Poynton through Whalley Bridge then over the Brick Works back to finish. We have also got a shorter but still challenging 45 mile route. Both rides have been designed by experienced local club cyclists. It will be a great day out in the saddle with some stunning scenery, challenging climbs, fast descents and picturesque villages. We have all the usual features you would expect from a popular club sportive, Electronic Timing, High 5 Feed Stations, Support Vehicles, Professional Photographers, Riders Village, Free Food and Drink, GPS Downloads, Route Cards, Changing Rooms, Free Ample Parking, Free Custom Sports Drink Bottles, Friendly Event Crew, Gold Silver and Bronze Standards, Strava, Event Commentator
