Event Overview

What’s it about?

  • 3 extra races which provide unique opportunity for developing riders to race on a world platform, all riders will be battling hard to secure the prize money, impress sponsors and convince coaches of their potential.
  • Riders in Male 15-16 and Female 15+ will race from the 5m hill and utilise and challenge sections.
  • Riders in the 17+ race will race from the 8m hill utilising the pro-sections.  This race is also open to SX riders outside of the top 64 from the Time Trial.

What’s extra?

  • All competitors will be allowed to watch the Supercross Time Trials from the accredited trackside seating.
  • All competitors in the Manchester Cup will receive 2 Friday only spectator tickets (to be collected on sign in).

Practice

  • Riders can practice on Thursday from 5.30pm until 7pm and Friday 4pm until 5.30pm. Practice times may be split for 8m and 5m hill practice (practice is included in the entry fee). 

Racing

  • The race starts at 8pm on Friday.

Race Plates

  • Riders in the 5m hill races (Male 15-16 and Female 15+) must use their own plate.
  • Riders in the 17+ race will use a plate issued by the organisation.

8m Hill Training session

  • Riders registering in Male 15-16 and Female 15+ can book onto the additional 2pm until 4pm Saturday training session on the 8m start hill with Dylan Clayton.
  • The cost is £5 for this session and places are limited to 45 on a first come, first served basis.
  • This is a development opportunity to allow riders looking to develop towards BMX Supercross racing. The session is provided as part of a commitment by the Manchester Round to help the development of riders into BMX Supercross.

Entry Details

  • Entry for 15-16 race closes on the 17th at 3pm,

Entry for the 17+ will close at the end of time trail qualifying.

  • The entry fee is £25 for racing.
  • All riders must have a full licence issued by their governing body.
