Event Overview

A fantastic new CLOSED ROAD Sportive, in central Scotland!! Starting from the event HQ at the Maxim Office Park (Euro Central off M8), the circuit will encompass some of the most attractive scenery in rural North & South Lanarkshire. Full route details to follow.

THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED UNTIL 2014 This inaugural Maxim St. Andrews Hospice Cycle Sportive WILL BE THE FIRST CLOSED ROAD SPORTIVE to be held in central Scotland. Entrants who raise a min. of £200 in sponsorship for the St. Andrews Hospice, will have their entry fee re-funded by the organisers. The terrain, scenery and event organisation will all contribute to a great day for the riders. The event will be based around event H/Q at the fantastic Maxim Office Park at Euro Central (off M8). The 80 mile Sportive route will challenge riders with undulating roads, great climbs and some spectacular scenery. There are hills, moors and lots of quiet country roads. Event marshals, NEG and police assistance will be provided to help riders enjoy the best of rural Lanarkshire, with food stations to help riders keep up the energy reserves.
