Event Overview
This incredible 200 mile bike ride returns once again during Friday 7th - Sunday 9th June 2013. The three day ride takes us from Cornwall to Bristol via our three children’s hospices; Little Harbour near St Austell, Little Bridge House near Barnstaple and Charlton Farm near Bristol.
Ride for Precious Lives is one of the highlights in our events calendar – the buzz and camaraderie between the cyclists over the three days is one of the event’s big draws. With only 100 places it is sure to sell out so make sure you register early!
The Ride for Precious Lives is amazing value for money at just £115pp – this includes two night’s accommodation, breakfasts and dinners as well as a fully supported ride. We ask our cyclists to aim to raise £500 to support the hospices that they visit along the way. The event attracts cyclists of all abilities and has raised over £250,000 in the last four years!
Cyclists are inspired by the children and families they meet along the way at our three hospices, together with the care team and family members that take part too - and it is this that makes the Ride for Precious Lives a truly unique cycle event.
