Wedmore, Somerset, BS28 4UE Sweets Tea Rooms is a well know stop for cyclists and clubs on the Sedgemoor Levels in Somerset - between Glastonbury & Wedmore. Plenty of space for parking and a café, some 'fun day' events will also be held on the day - this event always has a great informal family friendly fell - and we're rather proud that almost everyone that rides comes again the next year. - 35 or 100mile routes which you can opt on the day as you go to ride. 35 mile - easy friendly and mostly level with a gentle downhill near the end.
100mile route, suit Club riders, no daft gradients but some beautiful countryside and a great descent off the Mendip Hills near the end. Great even to meet others and ride in groups.

The Somerset 100 - Charity Ride. Now in it's 3rd year.
35 or 100mile recommended routes - one of the friendliest rides of the year. Raising funds for Above & Beyond, Bristol Hospitals Charity Fundraisers.
EVERYONE comes back year after year and rides this. IT IS NOT A SPORTIVE, SO NO TIMINGS. But a great opportunity to ride without pressure but supported by vehicle backup - a great friendly event where riders from all over the county meet up.

Although this is a non-competitive charity ride, plenty of you timed yourselves - so we have a quickest rider home. Luke Perrin 5h:08m. For the record, Luke is just 17.
Well done to all our riders - not only did you all provide an amazing atmosphere to our event you also all rode to a high standard and represented cycling at it's very best to other road users and we've received praise from several members of the public who took the trouble to contact us.
