From here the route head south west into the North Pennines, which is filled with quality climb, breath taking views and extremely quite roads!
As the route passes through Allendale town and then climbs to Coalclengh, it passes disused mines and out of seasons ski lifts, giving a sense of remoteness and escapism. at which point the route split and the Epic route heads south and gets Very Hilly passing over 'Chapel Fell' which offers a long demanding climb. A awesome decent and then Epic riders are ready to tackle 'White Hill' as they cross Bollinghope Common. From the top there are awe inspiriting unrivalled views!
