The first Round the Beat Sportive was held on 07/10/2012. It was the brainchild of Dave Holden who posed the question, 'Do you think we could cycle around the North East Leeds Policing Division?' The answer was yes and what a route!!

56 riders attended the 'test' event and no one was disappointed.

The result of the 'test' event is RTB Sportives 2013. A full Sportive aiming to raise a lot of money for The Jane Tomlinson Appeal & The Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

2 routes are available, 100km and 60km. Be aware there is a sting in the tail for those who take on the full route challenge!

With online entry via the British Cycling website, a fully stocked feed station, rider support and a fully signed route with marshalls, what more could you want for a Sunday morning ride.

There are 2 entry fees,

1. £10 plus a minimum of £30 raised in sponsorship or

2. £20 for those that just want to ride.

Both fees include, full Sportive Rider Manual via email, feed station entry, Tyvec wristband and full support from the RTB marshalls.
