Event Overview

A tough ride of 500 miles over 5 days. The Missing People Edinburgh to London is a seriously challenging ride starting in Edinburgh and arriving in London five days later.
In 2013 the ride will be exclusively in aid of Missing People.
The registration fee is just £199. Contact us for the fundraising target.*

5 epic days of cycling between these two great capital cities. The event starts in central Edinburgh and finishes with a lap of Richmond Park.

Starting from picturesque Holyrood Palace, the ride takes in some beautiful Scottish countryside, the North Yorkshire Moors, and finishes with a lap of Richmond Park.

Overnight stops in great hotels are in the North East, York, Nottingham, Milton Keynes and Richmond.

The route is designed to put experienced riders through their paces, with a pro-level experience including Ride Managers, a support car, quality accommodation and great food to fuel the journey through Newcastle, York, Nottingham and Milton Keynes.

  • Day 1 – Edinburgh to Newcastle
  • Day 2 – Newcastle to York
  • Day 3 – York to Nottingham
  • Day 4 – Nottingham to Milton Keynes
  • Day 5 – Milton Keynes to Richmond, London

Participants on this ride will need a high level of cycling proficiency and be capable of riding a 15mph pace for long distances. A road bike (not hybrid or MTB) is essential.

Hotel accommodation, meals, snacks, energy drinks, Ride2Raise Ride Manager and Support Team are included.

Missing People offer a lifeline for the 250,000 people who run away and go missing each year. For those left behind they provide specialised support to ease the heartache and confusion, and help search for their missing loved ones.
