The BRIGHTON TO BRIGHTON CYCLOSPORTIVE
29th September 2013
The Ultimate Cyclosportive in Sussex for the connoisseur of cycling just gets better and better.
The Brighton to Brighton Cyclosportive starts and finishes on Brighton's famous seafront and travels over the wonderful countryside of West Sussex and the South Downs.
There are three routes to choose from and they are :-
CLASSIC ROUTE 103 MILES CLICK HERE
CHALLENGE ROUTE 80 MILES CLICK HERE
TOU ROUTE 50 MILES CLICK HERE
The routes on this cyclosportive are relatively flat which is somewhat unusual for a SRS Events Cyclosportive.There is however one major hill at the end of all routes called Devils **** Hill.
Once up Devils **** it's mainly down hill with a chance to freewheel down to the coast and the HQ on Brighton's seafront.
The Longest route the "Classic Route" @ 103 miles also has the Climb of Tennyson's Lane Hill for riders to conquer. Tennyson's Lane Hill used to lead to the highest point in the county of Sussex before some boundary changes some years ago. With excellent feed station based at Village Halls and the usual great support from SRS Events this is an event not to be missed.
Comprehensive markings around the route will make sure you don't get lost.
Broom wagons and Medical care on route will make sure you get home safely.
PHOTOGRAPHY The official photographers for the B2B Cyclospotive is Avelo Images who will be offering photo's of the day in digital format and print format for all riders and at a reduced price.
