Taking place on the 6th October 2013, the Marie Curie Cancer Care Etape Pennines will once again provide riders with a chance to end the sportive season in style. Having gained a reputation in its first year as being the UK’s toughest sportive, you will have to overcome over 2,000 metres of climbing during the 78 mile closed road course. However, with breathtaking views and exhilarating downhill sections that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, your hard work is certainly rewarded. Cycling Plus magazine took on the inaugural event and said, “Beautiful but brutal, the Etape Pennines has the makings of a classic.” Set yourself a challenge and #TakeItOn
