About the Event
Info for Riders
We are running a family event for ALL ages – completely non-competitive – on Saturday afternoon 21st July. We are running this as part of the Musselburgh Honest Toun Festival Week and the club will also be taking part in the parade along the High Street on the following Friday evening. The aim for those taking part is to cover around 4 miles of the tracks at the back of the Musselburgh Race Course, beside the ‘lagoons’, whilst stopping at a number of ‘checkpoints’ to answer some simple question. Clues will be on the boards or visible for all to see. The surface is generally gravelly/stoney so pretty much any bike other than a lightweight racing bike will be fine for this – if you can ride a bike you can take part in this. We are not making a charge for this and we would ask that young children are accompanied by an adult.
