The Big Wight Enduro returns in 2012! First run as port of our Wight Diamond Festival, Big Wight is back as part of Cycle Wight, a great new weekend of Island cycling! The Isle of Wight is one of the UK's best kept mountain biking secrets! 250 miles of public tracks and bridleways criss-cross the island over a series of lofty chalk downs with breathtaking sea views and and countryside at every turn! The Big Wight Enduro takes you on a tour of the Islands finest off road riding. From the base in Yarmouth, you'll climb up onto Afton Down and Brighstone Forest, before striking out into the heart of the Island and off the Wight's highest points in it's south eastern corner. And the Islands hills are not to be underestimated! Form the beach at Ventnor to the top of Stenbury Down less than two miles to the north, is a climb that would rival many in Peak District!
