About the Event

Info for Riders

Zappi's Gran Fondo is the brainchild of ex Italian Pro Flavio Zappi. Flavio would like to invite you to come and join Zappi's Cycling Club (friendliest club in the world) and the man himself for a fun and hopefully tough day out. 185km and 110km routes are available with fully stocked feed stations on route, chip timing, full route signage, mechanical assistance (including pro mechanics at HQ), broom wagon, food* and coffee included and don't forget the goody bag with lots of things from our club sponsors. Cherwell School just inside the Oxford ringroad is the HQ. Sign on will start at 8 am for both rides with sign on closing at 10am for the 'Gran Fondo' route with last starter at 10:30am, the 'Medio Fondo' route will have sign on open until 10:30am with the last starter at 11am. At the HQ there will also be a Go-Ride event for 10-16 year olds so they can hone their riding and racing skills with some grass track fun. For more information on this visit our website.
