About the Event

Info for Riders

The final event for TweedLove 2012 (apart from the beer opening and bike cleaning) and it’s a classic finale. There’s no school like the old school, and this year’s Natural Tweed route – hand-picked by local guides. RIDELINES – will feel like a good old ‘back in the day’ cross country ride. It will take you to some of the lesser known natural parts of the Tweed Valley and promises some stiff climbs, sweet descents, classic trails and fantastic scenery with the route following a range of forest tracks, drove roads, well known hill paths and not so well known ancient passes. It’s not overly technical and most reasonably fit riders should manage the challenges, but it is a route that takes you out into remote locations so don’t underestimate the ride. Free Event. limited places. Starts 10am / sign on by 9.30am. Route approx 45 km. Over 16s only. Enter this free event today via the organisers website!
