About the Event

Info for Riders

Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and Mounts Bay Rotary Club (MBRC) have again joined forces to organise the Penwith Peninsular Charity Bike Ride. This has been a popular yearly event which had been supported by local cyclists and "non cyclist". All the rides have spectacular views with the 5 mile ride taking in Mounts Bay, the 20 mile ride Newlyn and Mousehole and the 40 mile ride the breath taking North Coast between Sennen and Zennor. We are hoping that more than 300 riders will take part this year, riders of all abilities can participate. The 40 mile ride has some challenging climbs and the 5 mile ride would be suitable for families including small children. There is no minimum sponsorship amount but all are encouraged to raise at least £50. The monies raised will be split with 70% to CRUK and 30% to MBRC. MBRC support a broad range of local and international organisations and individuals. This is the second year of the revival with the event becoming a regular feature of Penwith life.
