The 2nd round of The Bike Place Kielder 2012 Marathon Series, The Border Raid is one single lap going from Kielder to Newcastleton and back. Using forest roads and man made singletrack on both sides of the border, this event is a true epic adventure covering over 55kms of brilliant riding. Hot food at The Anglers Arms after the race is included in the entry fee. All proceeds are split between the Great North Air Ambulance and Kielder Trail Reavers.
