About the Event

Info for Riders

RideIt! Cannock Chase is a classic cycling area and is one of our favourite locations. The landscape is a mixture of open heathland and woodland. We explore some super cycling terrain that on a crisp October morning really will deliver a memorable ride. We begin the ride at the heart of the Cannock Chase Forest. After a loop of the tree lined roads surrounding the area we head North out of Rugeley and over the Blithfield reservoir. From here we pass Bagot Forest and on to the Buttermilk Hill followed by the descent of Marchington Cliff. The return route comes back via the scenic back roads to the north of the Forest. Registration opens at 8. Start times between 8:30 to 10:30am for Fun/Short/Medium routes and 8:30-9:45am for long route. Children Under 16 free entry if accompanied by a full paying adult.
