About the Event

Info for Riders

The Eagle Road Club is once again promoting our popular Reliability Ride, open to all riders, on a sporting course based around the Essex and Suffolk borders. All riders are welcome as we usually have several ability groups with one certain to fit your fitness level. The route is over undulating countryside on quiet roads totaling approximately 70 miles. Newmarket is the midway point of the ride and conveniently there's a cafe at the top of the high street for anyone wanting a break. Remember, this is Old School and we will provide a warm clubhouse with parking and toilets, a map of one of our favourite rides, and a friendly gathering of like-minded riders. No timing chips, no signage, no mechanical support other than your fellow riders and no broom wagon. Afterwards riders are invited to stay around the clubhouse for refreshments, or might find themselves heading to our neighbour the Chequers Pub for Sunday lunch. Start Time: 9:30 am
