The Tour of the Black Mountains & Iron Mountain Sportive, team up as part of the Abergavenny festival of cycling. These two awesome sportives are being combined into a two stage event. Both routes have received accolades for the superb scenery and challenging routes. The Tour of the Black Mountains sportive takes place on Sunday July 15th 2012. In 2008 the Black mountains route was used as the last training ride by by Sharon Laws before she departed for the Beijing Olympics and in 2010 representatives from Endura Racing and Rapha all took part as part of their build up to the Tour of Britain. You will leave this event feeling that you have taken part in a uniquely challenging and rewarding experience; So if you want a ride which has the reputation of being the Welsh etape come and join us.
