About the Event

Info for Riders

The Iron Mountain sportive takes place on Saturday July 14th 2012 and the Party In the Park will also take place in the afternoon in Bailey Park. Ride the route used in the 2009 national road race, including the legendary climb of "The Iron Mountain" ("The Tumble") on the 100 mile route. A shorter 50 mile sportive and a leisure ride of 19 miles are also available, for all abilities - including families that want to enjoy a great days cycling on quiet roads with stunning scenery. It has received accolades for the superb scenery and challenging routes. You will leave this event feeling that you have taken part in a uniquely challenging and rewarding experince.
