About the Event

Info for Riders

Enjoy a cycle ride through the lovely Chilterns and Aylesbury Vale countryside while at the same time raising money for these and other Rotary charities. You have a choice of a 25 mile route through quiet country lanes & cycle paths, or a medium difficulty 50 mile route (also suitable for road bikes). Both start and finish at Saunderton, at the HQ of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. There is ample free parking and a café selling hot and cold food and drinks both before and after the ride. En-route Thame Scouts provide tasty home-made food and drink. The event is fully marshalled with St John Ambulance and Cycletech in attendance. Riders are strongly advised to wear helmets and carry mobile phones for reporting any incident to the control point. Sponsorship is not a condition of entry but you are invited to raise money for this years chosen charities. They are South Bucks Hospice and Thomley Activity Centre near Thame, which provides recreational facilities for disabled children. If desired 50% of funds ra
