This is coach-led racing open to all members of all ages and abilities, much like our summer race series but you will notice that the classes are different in some cases. This is to reflect the club's membership and to ensure that there is the opportunity for good competition.

 

Gate practice from about midday with racing to start at 13:30 sharp. Sign in will close at 13:00

This is entry-level, coach led racing. Any disputes will be settled at the sole discretion of the coach. First time racers are welcome, provided they are members of he club.

 

Accessibility and inclusion are very important to to the club. If we can make any adjustments to support riders and enable then to take part we always will. Please let us know if we can help! :

 

Entry fees are £10 (cash only) on the day. There will no online registration. Riders who need to use club bikes should secure a bike before signing in with race admin by the finish line. There is no extra fee for using a club bike or other club equipment but it is subject to availability.

About the Event

Info for Riders

Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each category. Medals will be presented to 2nd and 3rd place. 

 

Riding up one by one year is permitted. For example a rider aged 12 may elect to ride in the 13-16 age group.  

 

Usual BMX equipment and clothing rules apply. Please check the rulebook at contact the club if you need guidance. Mountain bikes and freestyle BMX bikes are very suitable at this level. Just make sure that you have at least one brake and have taken off your pegs. Again, get in touch if you need any advice. 

 

The club has a selection of bikes and equipment, including helmets, available to borrow at no extra charge. This cannot be reserved or booked in advance so will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We haven't run out of bikes or kit to date but availability is not guaranteed.
