Event Overview

As part of the South London Grand Prix international racing here at Herne Hill Velodrome, youth riders will have a chance to compete in their own event in between the adult afternoon and evening racing events.

 

Our older youth categories of riders (U16 - born 2008 and 2009 and U14 - born 2010 and 2011) will take part in the following events*

Come and take part in the youth racing after school and then stick around to watch the rest of the South London Grand Prix!  Racers and one accompanying adult will be allowed access to the site on Friday 14th June for the SLGP, and additional family members will be able to get discount tickets for the same day's sessions.

As part of the South London Grand Prix international racing here at Herne Hill Velodrome, youth riders will have a chance to compete in their own event in between the adult afternoon and evening racing events.

Come and take part in the youth racing after school and then stick around to watch the rest of the South London Grand Prix!  Racers and one accompanying adult will be allowed access to the site on Friday 14th June for the SLGP, and additional family members will be able to get discount tickets for the same day's sessions.

 

If you have any questions about the events, please get in touch with Tianne (tbell@hhvt.org or info@hernehillvelodrome.com)

  • Lycra is not required, although we recommend that you don't wear anything too baggy - layers are recommended, as well as a warm jacket for in between races and after. Remember to bring water and snacks and your packed lunch to have before racing starts.
  • Gloves and Helmets must be worn.
  • Please arrive in plenty of time to register and warm up before racing begins
