Event Overview
60 or 20 mile circular routes, and a short off-road route at Clacton, the picturesque district of Tendring offers perfect cycling country with quiet roads, low hills and views to the sea.
Choosing a Start and Finish point in either Dovercourt (Harwich 60 / 20 mile routes) or Clacton-on-Sea, (60 / short closed road routes). Along the way we’ll visit St Osyth with its historic Martello Tower, Great Bentley - which boasts the biggest village green in England – and Great Oakley, its roots stretching back to the Domesday Book and, of course, Clacton - famous for its pier and pleasure gardens.
At both Finish-points you’ll be able to unwind with refreshments and entertainment - and perhaps top the ride off with a free swim at Dovercourt swimming pool...or maybe a splash in the briny at Clacton. (Weather permitting!)

DOVERCOURT (HARWICH):A12 to Colchester, then A120, just before Harwich turn right onto B1352 to Dovercourt and then B1414 and then follows our signs to the parking area next to Dovercourt Swimming Pool. Ample free parking is available on-site during the day.
CLACTON-ON-SEA: A133 to Clacton & continue to the Seafront. Turn east on Marine Parade East - Eastcliffe Recreation Ground half a mile on left. Ample parking at neighbouring Hazelmere Car Park, CO15 5JB
