About the Event

Info for Riders

Beacon Cycling Academy are holding a 'Go Ride' event at the Ackers Activity Centre on Tuesday 13th February between 12 and 3pm. This is suitable for riders aged 5 - 12. Riders will be given the chance to try out the course before challenging themselves to ride as fast as they can. The course will be in a section of grass and/or woodland which will be marked out with stakes and tape. Challenging features such will be picked out with whitewash. Riders will be given the opportunity to improve on their previous best time. A podium will be in place to recognise the achievements of fastest times and best improvements in each category. MTB and CX bikes are suitable. A limited number of bikes will be available on the day for riders who do not have a suitable machine. Keep your eye on Beacon Cycling Academy on Facebook for updates.
