Back for a second year Pedal 4 Paces is an exciting multi distance cycling event taking in some of the most beautiful roads in the South Yorkshire region all in aid of raising vital funds for Paces, a charity who support children, adults and families living with Cerebral Palsy and other motor disorders.

Starting and finishing at Manvers Waterfront Boat Club in Wath upon Dearne, participants will have the option of embarking on a 30 mile or 60 mile loop, planned specifically to take in many of the beautiful and quiet roads of South Yorkshire.

What’s included with your entry

  • A well signposted and marshalled route taking in some beautiful scenery
  • A great selection of food and drink at the feed station
  • Bike mechanic services available at the start
  • All finishers will receive a beautiful medal to mark the occasion
  • The chance to ride with a group of like-minded people in aid of a wonderful charity

 

Exciting extras

  • Chance to enter a raffle including some great prizes, including cycling related items

 

About the route

The route has been designed to be suitable for road bikes.

There will be a feed stations positioned across the course. These stations are good points to refuel and re hydrate.

Paces is a leading specialist centre for children with Cerebral Palsy and other motor disorders, with an ever-growing reputation for excellence in Conductive Education.

 

Conductive Education as a holistic approach is unique and is highly effective in meeting the learning needs of our children and young people.

 

Paces was established in the 1990s by a small group of parents who recognised the benefits of Conductive Education for their children with cerebral palsy.

 

A growing number of families have since taken advantage of Paces’ unique way of working, enabling their children to reap great benefits from our integrated approach, which focuses on personal goals and aspirations.

 

Additional fundraising

There is a section at the end of your entry form where you can make an additional donation to Paces if you would like to. Any additional donations will be gratefully appreciated.

About the route

The route has been designed to be suitable for road bikes.

There will be a feed stations located on the route with access to toilet facilities. The exact locations of these will be sent to any rider who has signed up to the event and will be contained within the event programme. This will be sent out to riders around one month ahead of the event.
