Event Summary

Event Overview

The Brewood Cycle Challenge will continue to fundraise for the renovation of the Scout facilities however from 2022 the proceeds will be split between the 2nd Brewood Scouts and a local nominated charity.

For 2022 the Brewood Cycle Challenge committee have nominated St Giles Hospice in Whittington.  St Giles Hospice is a registered charity founded in 1983 by the Reverend Paul Brothwell, originally to improve the care of local people dying with cancer. They now support people in the community whose illnesses may not be curable such as cancer, motor neurone disease, heart failure, MS and respiratory disease. They also offer support for families and helpers.

Riders of previous cycle challenges will know that Whittington forms part of one of our routes with cyclists passing this remarkable hospice.  We are proud to support this outstanding local charity for 2022.

This year represents the 11th year running of this increasingly popular and, well respected event.
