This is a Regional A race event, we use national level tracks that are uplifted via our dedicated uplift trailers and are included in your entry fee. Our events are governed by British Cycling regulations, these are available online or you may look through our website at our guide to racing downhill.

 

The track will be closed from Friday morning. It will be available for a riders track walk after 4.00PM, 

Saturday:  Sign on opens at 8.15am till 1pm. Uplift opens at 9.30am The track should go live for practise at 9.45am approx.  Practise will be all day with the last 2 hours full runs only.  Track closes approx. 4.30PM and the last uplift will leave the bottom loading at approx 4.00 PM. 

Sunday: The track should be live at approx. 9.30am Full runs from 10.30 till 11.30, Practise finishes at 11.30, approx. 20/25 mins for lunch Times may change but will be notified ahead of sunday. 

First race runs from 11.50am   Second race runs from 1.50pm Podiums 40 min after final race run at the Finish arena.

Race fee’s ; these include your race fee and uplift, it covers the cost of the venue, uplifts , marshall hired in services etc and represents good value for money. 

Entry is via online British Cycling system and closes on the Sunday before the event at Midnight. This allows time to seed and sort riders prior to the event.  No late entries .

Refunds/ Transfer of event will be given uptill 30 days before close of entries with a £10 admin fee plus BC refund cost. 

30-14 days before entries close a £20 admin fee plus BC fee. 

After this no refunds will be given. We do not transfer Entries to another rider . 

Please note refunds for Covid are no longer supported, you should take precautions to safeguard yourself and other riders prior too and at the event. If you are symptomatic or have a positive test result please do not attend and put racing in danger of being cancelled for others. 

You may be able to get refund insurance from your payment provider. 

 

Timing, We are using traditional TAG HEUER timing system with a split and a speed trap . Results will be displayed at the finish line via a large 42" tv display. 

 

Camping/ parking, There is limited amount of Pro pit space at the finish line please message the team if you require a space. there is various area's for camping but mostly of hardstanding. we will be working with the NRW to try and secure a better paddock area for this and future races, please note there is no drinking water supply for camping. 

Please be careful if your using BBq’s , there is to be no fire directly on the ground although a firepit is acceptable, please have a means to be able to extinguish any fire and make sure it is  extinguished at the end of the evening. This may be not be applicable at some venues as landowners may have a no fire rule! 

Toilets. There is a toilets provide at all races.  the emptying of motorhome toilets etc is strictly forbidden. 

Skip.  We encourage everyone to take rubbish home with them and to recycle as much as possible. A skip company has no way of recycling and most just goes to landfill. Although we do provide a miniskip.  this is not for the disposal of tyres/gazebo's or tents etc. if found we will invoice for the use and disposal of such items.

Noise and etiquete.  No generators or music after 10pm . We do have families with young children please be considerate. Riders and families should conduct them selves in a suitable manner. Should a rider/his or her family member behave in anyway as to be abusive/antisocial manner  towards staff, volunteers, another individual onsite or property we reserve the right to withdraw a rider and ask the group to leave immediately. This may escalate to action being taken by British Cycling aswell as future race entries being withdrawn by the organiser. 

Catering, there will be external Caterers onsite.

Medics, We use Event Medics at all our races, they are very experienced with extreme sports, should you require attention please make your way to them or if unable , contact a member of the team or a Marshall who will radio for help. They are there to help in anyway they can during the race weekend

Security, Please be vigilant when leaving your belongings or your race bike around , The organiser is not responsible for the security of your bikes and advises that they are locked away when not in use.

Info for Riders

All riders please note that a Full face helmet and bar plugs are mandatory and will be checked prior to you being allowed on track. We highly recommend that Knee/elbowpads/gloves  along with suitable clothing are worn.

We strongly recommend that Juvenile and Junior riders wear a full back/spine protector. A Neck brace may also be advisable .

 

Concussion/Head Trauma

We are now implementing that anyrider that has had a head concussion report to the medic immediately and if any rider is seen by a Marshall or a fellow rider , that rider’s number is made aware to the Chief Marshall/Comms  so that he may be directed to the medic. Only once the Medic has deemed you fit to ride will you be allowed back on track.

 

We have the support of DC Cycles with us at every race, they have a well stocked trade shop with them and race mechanics. should you require attention please make your way over to the large pit awning they have and chat with the guys there. ,.

BIKEWASH,Where possiable we will have a sponsored bikewash , this will be a great opportunity to test out their bikewash products , we will have more news on this soon!

Pro-Pits, we aim to have more collaboration between our series sponsors and the racers, a part of this will be to have these guys close to the finish arena/ Event village. Please browse round as were working hard to bring you guys some great products and race day bargains.
