Event Overview
Falkirk Junior Bike Club is delighted to present a brand new event onto the 2021 Calendar - our Callendar Park CX Go-Ride races for U8s to U12s.
Taking place alongside the HSBC UK British National Cyclocross Trophy, these Go-Ride racing events will incorporate two races for each category:
- Flying Lap - Every rider will ride one lap of the course individually as fast as they can. Their time for this will determine their starting position on the grid.
- Normal race - Around 10 mins for U8s, 15 mins for U10s and 20 mins for U12s. Cover as many laps as possible within the allocated time.
Please note - that the first time noted for each age category is when the flying laps will begin for that category, with riders setting off every 30s. Their normal race will take place around one hour later.
Flying laps schedule:
0900-0930 - U8s
0930-0950 - U10s
0950-1010 - U12s
Normal race schedule:
1020 - U8s
1040 - U10s
1105 - U12s
Podiums will take place in the main event arena around 30 mins after the final race.
