The National Wallace Monument Hill Climb Including the SSS Hill Climb Championships.

The event starts at the bottom of the climb next to the cafe and is a time trial up to the top. The total distance is 460m, the hill is short and steep! 

The event will start in the evening with the first rider going off at 5.30pm. Sign on will be available from 5pm. 

The event has four categories:

• Female Student 
• Female Non-Student
• Male Student 
• Male Non-Student

This event is available for Students and Non-Students.

There will be four classifications within the race;

• Male Students
• Female Students
• Male Non-Students
• Female Non-Students

To qualify as a student, you must be current matriculation at a Scottish institution, university or college or any other form of higher education.

Helmets must be worn during competition. No helmet, no ride.

The course must not be ridden on before 17:30 as we do not have permission to use the National Wallace Monument's property before that time.

The first rider will go off at 17:30.

Sign on starts at 17:00.

We are guests on another organisation's property. Please be respectful and do not infringe on any other member of the public enjoying the Wallace Monument Facility. This is especially important in the car parking area before 17:30.

Car parking is available at the venue. Toilets are available at the University.

The course is 460m in length at an average gradient of 14%.

Due to covid restrictions there will be no holding at the start so you will be setting yourself off.
