Event Overview
The Manx Roads Less Travelled (RLT)...
A full weekend of action, giving you the opportunity to discover the quiet, less-travelled lanes of the Isle of Man. You may choose to ride on one or both days and choose your distance each day - any combination you want.
Every course option is suitable for any type of bike - Road, Gravel, Hybrid and MTB - e-Bikes are also most welcome.
For comfort, a minimum tire-width of 25mm is recommended, with the 'sweet-spot' probably being 28-30mm.
The Saturday and Sunday routes for 50Km and 100Km distances are different on each day, covering the South of the Island on Saturday and the North-West on Sunday. For the ultra endurance fans, there are single courses for 200Km or 250Km distances, so that riders may choose which day they wish to complete their ride.
The two 50Km routes are moderate in terms of climbing and non-technical, with a mixture of mainly tarmac plus a few gravel and fire-road sections.
The two 100Km courses are more challenging in respect of hills and include more non-tarmac surfaces.
The 200Km & 250Km Ultra courses are simply tougher in every way!
