Event Overview

What is it?

A 2 hour session dedicated to developing on & off bike skills along with physical elements required for success. Development Centres will support riders with their first step on the talent pathway and are for those who aspire to be become better bike riders and who might be looking to attend RSRs as well as current riders who have already engaged in RSR and Apprentice programmes. Riders should be aware that these sessions will be physically challenging, meeting the needs of the racing standards of All Youth A & B bike racers

Who delivers it? Delivery will be led by British Cycling Regional Team & Talent Development staff alongside club coaches from the surrounding area 

When is it?  Wednesday night from 7-9pm

Who is it for? All Youth A & B bike racers

What does it cost? £4 per session -  on line entries only

What you need? Clean road bike in good working order*, helmet, gloves, appropriate clothing for the weather & time of year, spare inner tube, tyre levers, pump and enough food & drink (water bottles on bike or close to the crt) to see you through the session and travelling home 

 

*If you do not own a road bike then a cross bike with road tyres on is fine

About the Event

Info for Riders

This session is open to Youth A/B racers with race experience.  

Riders will need to bring there own equipment and enough food and drink to last an intense 2 hour training session working on circuit racing skills and race related training. 

In light of current circumstances there are no shower/changing facilities available.

All participants must use there own road bikes, bring appropiate clothing, food and drink for a 2 hour training session

 

Covid-19 Information:

If you, or anyone in your household is shielding or displaying and covid-19 symptoms do not attend this session. The on-bike sessions are designed to meet current social-distancing and hygiene requirements. Please respect normal social-distancing and hygiene requirements when off the bikes too.

  • Keep 1m apart. 
  • Do not share equipment.
  • Your own equipment should be clean and sanitised before you use it.
  • Do not congregate more than necessary before and after a session.
