Event Summary

Event Overview

A welcome back to racing at Exeter Eagles BMX track, we will accept riders from other clubs upto a Max of 72, registration is Online via BC website only and there is no on the day entry.

This is a one off event where each rider will be randomly assigned to one of the 4 home nations, riders points will be awarded to their respective nation, the nation with the most points at the end wins. Get ready to cheer on your team mates.

Racing will be done via Sqorz meaning transponders are required, please ensure you have a transponder and active subscription.

Face coverings for spectators are recommended but not mandatory.

Spectators are limited to 1 per child rider as per current Government and British Cycling guidance and there is plenty of room around the track to socially distance.

Registration will be done at point of arrival and track will open at 12.15pm with racing due to start around 2pm

A restricted amount of takeaway food and drink will be available and we are able to take contactless card or smart device payments to minimise cash.

Racing could be streamed online and by attending you acknowledge and accept this.

Exeter BMX Track, Cofton Road, Marsh Barton Trading Estate, Exeter, Devon, EX2 8QW
Directions: Leave the M5 at J30 and take the A379 towards Exminster/Marsh Barton Industrial Estate. At the Devon Motel turn into Marsh Barton and go straight across the roundabout. Take the first right opposite the SMB garage into Hennock Road and the first left into Cotton Road. Keep following the road until the gate entrance past the Motor Cycling Training Centre and Cycle Speedway ground.

Info for Riders

Race day schedule

  • Registration will be done at point of arrival and will open at 12.15, please queue socially distanced
  • Practice will be from 12.30 to 1.30
  • Moto's due to start at 2pm
  • Finals approx 3.30 following a short break after Moto's

Moto and Final start times are approximate and subject to change.

 

Race day details

  • Racing will be run through Sqorz so please ensure you have a transponder and an active subscription.
  • Please enter the category based on your 2021 race age.
  • All age groups are subject to merging up or down at the organisers discretion.
  • Races will be called up individually allowing social distancing guidelines to be maintained, unless being called up or racing riders should remain in their designated area.
