Event Overview

The "Moors Menace" draws inspiration from the charitable endeavours of the late councillor and former Mayor of both Guisborough and Redcar & Cleveland, Dennis Teasdale. As a public servant, Dennis used his time despite his failing health, to support a number of local projects and initiatives. He was particularly proud to be part of the Guisborough Town Hall Gateway project which is a community project to restore the historic Grade II listed building to it's former state. The Town Hall will provide accommodation and serve as a Gateway for the community and visitors alike to provide information on the rich architectural history of Guisborough and access to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

Our vision is to provide riders the opportunity to take part in the project by helping to secure it's future, promote the environmental and health benefits of cycling and witness the outstanding beauty offered by this unique area.
