Event Overview

The 2020 Junior RR Champs is incorporated into a popular 50-mile road race event, with 65 riders traditionally protected by motorcycle outriders and 35+ volunteers assisting as marshals and driving support vehicles.

 

The Regional B race is open to 3rd & 4th Cat senior riders. Priority will be given to Junior riders.

Entry for the event will close on 28/03/2020. All entrants will be reviewed for acceptance by the organising committee once entry closes.

Info for Riders

Entrants should be aware of the following Championship regulations;

 

18.1.2 All Scottish Cycling Championship shall be open to:-

 

 

a) Scottish Cycling/British Cycling members (members of clubs affiliated to the Scottish Cycling)

 

b) Scottish Nationals (persons born in Scotland)

 

c) Scottish Residents (persons who have lived in Scotland for three of the last five years)

 

d) Persons who have at least one parent who was born in Scotland. 

 

e) Members of the armed forces who meet none of the above, but who by necessity are required to live in Scotland away from their normal residence.

 

f) For all team championships, eligibility requires at least one of the above criteria to be met, as well as each riders's licence showing the same club or team. Clubs or teams, in this instance, may be affiliated to any UCI registered governing body. For special cases see the current Scottish Track Championship regulations

 

18.1.5 In all individual Championships, awards will be as follows:

  • 8 or more entrie 3 medals
  • 6 or 7 entries 2 medals
  • 5 entries or fewer 1 medal
