Two brand new sportive rides starting and finishing in Shrewsbury, Le Petit is 49 miles long and Le Grande is 74 miles in length.

Make your selection from Le Petit Route or Le Grande Route, both guaranteed to leave you satisfied with your achievement.

You’ll be riding through some of Shropshire’s best cycling country and taking on one of the county’s most challenging climbs.

Rolling out south of Shrewsbury towards the delights of the iconic Wenlock Edge, you’ll turn towards  the Long Mynd and go over the infamous Castle Hill before enjoying a well-earned run-in to the finish.

Starting and finishing at Trek Shrewsbury on Easter Saturday, the routes are fully signed, there’s a feed stop along the way for Le Grand Route.

Entry also available on the day, paying £5 to take part in Let Petit Route and £10 for Le Grande Route.

The entry fee for both routes includes refreshments at the start and finish of the ride as well as a goody bag.

Sign on from 9am at Trek Shrewsbury – Stan’s Cycles – the bottom of Wyle Cop, Shrewsbury (SY1 1XJ). Rides start between 9am and 9.45am.

Please note if you are arriving by car with bikes on the roof: There are height restriction barriers at the NCP car park opposite the shop, at Julian’s Friars car park and at Abbey Foregate. There is a loading bay on the road immediately outside the shop.
