This is VC Oyster’s sportive ride and we plan to make it a great success building on the achievement of last year’s event!  Of course, we can’t do that without you, so please come and cycle these great routes of 60km and 100km which start and finish on Mersea Island, just 7 miles south of Colchester. Last year we added a new longer distance and because we know you like a challenge the longer 160Km route includes Danbury North Hill twice!!

You start and finish at a beautiful location a stones throw from the sea on Mersea Island (the hidden gem of Essex), just 7 miles south of Colchester. Please come and try these three great routes through the best of Essex countryside.  We are continuing with our ride distances of 60km and the 100km which, because we know you like a challenge, includes North Hill, Little Baddow.  We are also keeping the 160km ride with 2 ascents of the Col de North Hill. This has proved very popular, possibly because it passes the feed station at the top of the hill twice.
