VC Revolution Cycle-Sportive
Sunday 17th February 2019
VC Revolution Cycling Club will again be promoting its Annual Cyclo-Sportive on a sporting course based around the Essex and Suffolk borders starting as always from West Bergholt, Colchester.
- Two fully sign-posted routes: 50 miles and 28 miles.
- Entry fee of £5 includes free tea/coffee and a slice of wonderful home - made cake on completion of the ride.
- Detailed route sheets & maps will be issued on the day
and both route maps will be available on line.

Format for 2019
This year to help with catering at HQ and to improve safety on the event
the groups will start at the new times shown below
50 miles The Gold ride departs event HQ at 9.00 am with the Silver then Bronze rides starting in quick succession afterwards with timings depending on numbers of riders and size of groups.
50 miles estimate to be completed in:
- Gold: 2hrs 30 mins [20 mph average] departs 9.00 am
- Silver: 2hrs 45 mins [18 mph average] departs 9.15 am
- Bronze: 3hrs 20 mins [15 mph average] departs 9.30 am
- 28 mile ride departs from the event HQ at 10.00 am
